Product description

The Soviet T-38 light tank was an amphibious reconnaissance vehicle developed in the 1930s and used during World War II. Similar to its predecessor, the T-37A, the T-38 was designed for reconnaissance missions over land and water, but featured several improvements, including improved engine power and a modified hull shape that provided better buoyancy characteristics.

Areas of use: The T-38 was used primarily on the Eastern Front during World War II. It took part in the Soviet Union's early campaigns, including the battles in Poland and Finland, but was considered inadequate later in the war due to its light armor and low firepower.

For which country: Soviet Union

Possible uses in tabletop games:

  • Bolt Action: The T-38 can be used as a fast and flexible reconnaissance vehicle in Soviet army lists, ideal for games that emphasize its amphibious capabilities.
  • Flames of War: Due to its historical role, the T-38 is well suited to early Eastern Front scenarios, but offers limited fire support.
  • Chain of Command: The T-38 is an interesting option for specialized scenarios that require rapid movement and reconnaissance over difficult terrain.

                                Hints

The miniatures come to you unpainted and some of them have to be assembled by yourself - a little superglue can work wonders here! Sometimes there can be small residues or slight damage from the support structures, unfortunately these cannot always be completely avoided. But don't worry, this does not affect the quality of your model.

However, it should be noted that due to the 3D SLA printing process, slight distortions (up to 1mm) may occur on larger parts. However, these small imperfections are easily fixed with modeling filler (Green Stuff).

It's just a small part of the process that gives your set a unique character. Have fun painting and assembling!

Although the figures are inviting to play with, it is important to remember that they are not suitable for small children. There is a risk that small parts can break off. Miniatures should not be considered toys.
