Developed by Consolidated Aircraft Corporation, the B-24D served in all theaters of World War II - from the icy heights of Germany to the sun-scorched islands of the Pacific. With more than 18,400 units produced, the B-24 was one of the most produced bombers in history. Its ability to carry large bomb loads over long distances made it a backbone of the Allied bombing offensive against the Axis powers.

Tabletop Game Use: The B-24D Liberator model provides a unique addition to tabletop games simulating the strategic air warfare of World War II. In games like Flames of War and Wings of Glory, players can experience the tactical challenges associated with operating long-range bombers, from target selection to defending against enemy fighters. For Axis & Allies players, the B-24D offers the ability to conduct decisive strategic bombing missions that can change the course of the battle.

    Hints

The miniatures come to you unpainted and some of them have to be assembled yourself - a little superglue can work wonders here! Sometimes there may be small residues or slight damage caused by the support structures, but unfortunately these cannot always be completely avoided. But don't worry, this won't affect the quality of your model.

However, it should be noted that due to the 3D SLA printing process, slight distortions (up to 1mm) may occur on larger parts. However, these small imperfections are easily repaired with modeling putty (Green Stuff).

It's just a small part of the process that gives your set a unique character. Have fun painting and assembling!

Even though the figures are great to play with, it is important to remember that they are not suitable for small children. There is a risk that small parts could break off. Miniatures should not be viewed as toys.
