product description

The Flakpanzer IV "Ostwind" was a mobile anti-aircraft solution of the German Wehrmacht in World War II. It was based on the chassis of the Panzer IV and was equipped with a 3.7 cm FlaK 43 in a hexagonal, open rotating turret . This modification was intended to provide better air defense for Panzer divisions, especially in view of the increasing threat from Allied fighter-bombers.

The Ostwind was an improvement over the Flakpanzer IV "Wirbelwind" because the 3.7 cm FlaK 43 offered greater penetration and range. Despite its effectiveness, the Flakpanzer IV "Ostwind" was only produced in small numbers because the German armaments industry was under increasing pressure towards the end of the war.

    notes

The miniatures come to you unpainted and some of them have to be assembled by yourself - a little superglue can work wonders here! Sometimes there can be small residues or slight damage from the support structures, unfortunately these cannot always be completely avoided. But don't worry, this does not affect the quality of your model.

However, it should be noted that due to the 3D SLA printing process, slight distortions (up to 1mm) may occur on larger parts. However, these small imperfections are easily fixed with modeling filler (Green Stuff).

It's just a small part of the process that gives your set a unique character. Have fun painting and assembling!

Although the figures are inviting to play with, it is important to remember that they are not suitable for small children. There is a risk that small parts can break off. Miniatures should not be considered toys.
